Ministry Update from Bill 

Shalom everyone. Even though the temperatures aren’t saying it just yet, the calendar says that Summer is coming to an end. I can’t say I’m all that disappointed because we are fast approaching my favorite time of year, Autumn, and that means Sukkot. As you and your family prepare for this special time of year, I pray that the Father will bless and prosper you. With that said, let me share with you the latest news from around here and what’s going on with Shoreshim Ministries and Jacob’s Tent.

Shoreshim Ministries

Thank you to all who support Shoreshim Ministries: we couldn’t do anything without your help. Even though my traveling has been curtailed considerably, we are still working on projects that will be available only through www.billcloud.com. In the next few weeks we hope to release the latest video teaching called, In the Footsteps of Abraham: From Babylon to Moriah. We’re in the middle of editing the project now and look to have it mastered in the next couple of weeks. Be looking for this soon.

Don’t forget to go to the blog on our website for daily posts including the written version of On This Day. By the way, we hope to restart the video version of On This Day in the next couple of months. You may recall we had started it but ran into some technical difficulties that waylaid us for all this time. Be in prayer as we plot our course for the revised and updated edition of On This Day. 

I wanted to remind you again that Shoreshim Ministries will continue even though we have started the congregation at Jacob’s Tent. Currently, I take no salary from the congregation and, so, Shoreshim is the means by which we are sustained financially. Jacob’s Tent is a separate entity and, though we certainly invite your support for that ministry, we don’t want you to think that Shoreshim doesn’t need your support. One of the best ways that you can continue to assist Shoreshim is by becoming a Premium subscriber at www.billcloud.com. If you haven’t done that, we hope that you will give it prayerful consideration.

Update on Jacob’s Tent

Since July 20th, we have been and will continue to meet each Shabbat at 11 AM with praise and worship, a message inspired by the Torah portion and a time of food and fellowship. Afterwards, we convene for an informal discussion about the day’s topic and other Biblical interests. We are located at 151 Inman St. E in Cleveland, TN.

As usual, we LiveStream for those who can’t be with us in person. You can catch the LiveStream each week on the Jacob’s Tent Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/JacobsTentFellowship/), Shoreshim’s Facebook or on our YouTube channel. We have also started a midweek Bible Study that will be Livestreamed each week. We will start the Bible study at approximately 7:15 PM ET each Wednesday night. Currently we are studying the Creation account from a Hebraic point of view. Past sessions are posted on our YouTube and Facebook pages. 

Where our Streamers are concerned: if you are being blessed by the services, please support our efforts by liking, sharing and praying for our LiveStream events. Furthermore, we want you to prayerfully consider supporting this ministry with your finances. Each month, it costs about $1250 monthly to provide the LiveStream not  including equipment that has to be purchased. As I shared with you last time, we have borrowed cameras from others in order to provide the LiveStream but the time is soon coming when we won’t be able to do that. We need to raise a minimum of $7,500 to purchase the cameras needed to do the job plus we need to raise the funds to have someone. We are going to be looking to our viewers on YouTube and Facebook to help us with this. We’ll announce more later. In the meantime, let me say, “Thank you” to those in the internet audience who have responded, several of them repeatedly.

Remember:  Shoreshim Ministries is not Jacob’s Tent and Jacob’s Tent is not Shoreshim Ministries even though Beth and I are directing both. Sukkot 2019!

Time is running out if you are intending to register for our Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) gathering. We only have a handful of spots still available and within the next couple of weeks we will be closing registration completely. If you have already registered, we will be contacting you with more information and the balance which must be paid prior to Sukkot.
