This is our commentary on the portion Shemot – “names.” This initial portion of Exodus details some of the most important events in the history of Israel. We see the emergence of a tyrant who seeks to destroy the Hebrew people. In the midst of this darkness, however, there is a burst of light with the birth of Moses. Thus, begins the redemption of Abraham’s seed. Hope you enjoy.

Thank you for doing weekly Torah portions. I can’t seem to forward on the recording and it is hard to watch a 3 hour teaching at one time.
Donette; Not sure that there is a way to forward the recording other than clicking on the play bar (probably not the proper term) that runs across the bottom of the image. I’ll ask about it and see if there is something you can do.
