Good Morning.

And Aaron spoke all the words which the Lord had spoken to Moses. Then he did the signs in the sight of the people. So the people believed; and when they heard that the Lord had visited the children of Israel and that He had looked on their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshiped. (Exodus 4:30-31)

After Aaron had met Moses in the wilderness and learned of all God had spoken to him, the two brothers gathered the elders of Israel to hear them. As Moses’ spokesman, Aaron conveyed all of the glorious news to the weary Hebrews. It was at that moment that they knew God had heard their petitions. They knew that, now, was the time of their deliverance. Through Moses and Aaron, God gave them signs and a message that could not be denied. In recognition of this fact, the people prostrated themselves in worship.

There was no ambiguity about IF this was the LORD’s doing. There was no guesswork as to IF this was really going to happen. They KNEW. This is important to consider because there are times in our lives when we wonder whether God is hearing our prayers. We question whether or not He will deliver us. We aren’t always certain that things going on in our lives are the work of His hands or just the circumstances of living life. In other words, we don’t always KNOW — we wonder.

Our scripture, today, makes it clear that, at the time He has ordained, God will make things crystal clear to us and deliver a message that cannot be denied. There is coming a day when we will not have to wonder IF this is God or IF God will do this — there is coming a day that we will KNOW. When He begins to move in our lives and in this world, we will know that it is the work of the Almighty. Until then, let us continue to walk in faith knowing that the day of our deliverance is coming. Hang on, persevere and believe; our redemption is at hand.

Blessings and Shalom,
