Ministry Update from Bill
Greetings everyone. Blessings to all of you and your family.
Shabbat Celebration
First of all I want to remind everyone that our Shabbat celebration will be this Saturday (June 1, 2019) at 2 PM. We are meeting, once again, at the Dwelling Place on Urbane Rd. in Cleveland, TN. Make sure to tell your neighbor and everyone who can, please come join us. As usual, we will be live streaming for those who can’t be with us in person. We hope that you’ll join us for worship and fellowship. All the details are available at https://billcloud.com/itinerary/.
The End of the Road
This past weekend I joined my good friend, Brad Scott, in Granbury, TX for a conference there. We had a great time with all those who were present and I enjoyed getting to spend some time with my old friend. It seemed fitting that Brad was there with me this past weekend because, for all practical purposes, this was my last road trip. After almost twenty years of traveling, I’ve decided to come off the road and devote sufficient time to developing a congregation here at home. I’m not going to say that I’ll never travel to speak but I am saying I won’t be doing it nearly as much as I have over the last two decades.
As I said, it seemed fitting that Brad was there for this weekend because it was about 16 years ago that he and I did our first speaking tour together – in Texas. In addition to getting to know Brad so well over those years, I’ve met a lot of other wonderful people, many of whom have become life-long friends. Congregations all over the country and even a few abroad have been our “fellowship” for a long time but the time has come to develop relationships right here in our back yard. Beth and I truly feel this is what we’re supposed to do at this time in our lives. Still, it’s fair to say that it is a bittersweet time in my life. I’m thrilled to be home with my family more but, at the same time, I know that I won’t be seeing so many people who are dear to me for quite some time.
So in that vein, I want to say, “Thank you” to all of you in all those groups in places like Lubbock, TX, Couer d’Alene, ID, Omaha, NE, Hagerstown, MD and Vero Beach, FL for all of your support through the years, both financially and prayerfully. We couldn’t have gotten to this point without all of you who have supported this ministry by asking me to come and speak to your congregations and home groups. On that note, please know that Shoreshim Ministries will continue. I will still be producing teaching resources that will be distributed through our website, our YouTube channel and other platforms. In fact, we have plans to do a lot of interesting things in the future, it’s just that I won’t be going from congregation to congregation to share these things one on one. I will, however, be reaching out to families and groups across the nation and abroad through the LiveStream of our Shabbat meetings.
On that note, in the next few weeks I’ll be sharing with you about a couple of needs that have arisen where the congregation is concerned. If you are being blessed by the meetings, we want you to be aware of some issues we are going to need some help with as it relates to LiveStreaming the meetings. More about that at a later time, though.
New Teachings For Premium Members
If you are a premium subscriber on our website, have you noticed the new teachings that have been posted? Over the last few weeks, two new titles have been added to the Watch Page and another one is on the way. Messianic Birth Pains and Living Stones are now available for streaming if you are Premium member and One In Messiah will be available soon. If you are not a Premium member and would like to get these new teachings, go to our store at www.billcloud.com to order them OR consider becoming a Premium subscriber. Doing this greatly assists us in our efforts to fund this ministry and continue producing more teaching materials. By the way, if its not in your budget to become a Premium member, you can sign up for a free subscription called the Gleaning Corner. All Gleaning Corner subscribers have access to hundreds of hours of free teaching resources on our site as well.
Thank You!
Beth and I deeply appreciate all of you who write, call and post to offer your words of encouragement. We don’t always get to answer everyone but I assure you that we see every one. Also, thank you for your financial support, as well – you literally keep this ministry going. Please keep us in your prayers – lots of things are happening and some exciting news will be announced very soon. Until next time, know that we love you and thank God for you.
Shalom,
Bill; I have missed you the last time you was in Amarillo, and I wanted to see you so bad, but I don’t drive out of town anymore and there wasn’t anyone to take me. I’m so thankful I can watch you on youtube. I am glad that you are home more with the family and you are doing what is best at this time. You will be missed by everyone that you have taught over the years. You do know that you are one of my favorite teachers. MAY THE FATHER OF ALL THINGS BLESS YOU IN EVERYTHING YOU DO, IN YESHUA’S NAME, AMIEN.
Ms. Jeri. Thanks so much for your support through the years. We love you. Shalom.
