Shalom everyone. With every passing day, developing events convince me beyond doubt that, in the end, it will not be WHAT I know – i.e. my theology – but WHO I know that will see me through the things coming upon the world.

In my mind, this statement is related to the statement I made in my last post on Thursday (FWIW 5/30/13). More and more I see the world and its systems being used to force us to make a choice to be set apart or not. Being set apart is more than calendar issues or Name pronunciations; to be set apart has more to do with the state of my heart than the knowledge and information that may crowd my head. In Revelation 12 we are told that “They (His people) overcame him (the adversary) by the blood of the Lamb, the word of their testimony and they loved not their lives to the death.” It seems to me that these are people who have presented their bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to the LORD and you don’t do that if your heart is still crammed with “you.”

Here is why I am reminded of this today. According to different news sources, apparently, if I say or write something that is viewed as being offensive to Islam, the Dept. of Justice might haul me into court [see link below]. This is the same DOJ that is reportedly forcing its employees to verbally affirm gay equality. It would seem that the “powers-that-be” are increasing the pressure upon the people to bow and submit to their moral standards. As far as I am concerned, this is just another reminder that we are called to “come out from among them and be separate”; we are not called to “co-exist.” In the end, ALL will serve His purposes. Have a great day everyone.

ANTI-MUSLIM SPEECH COULD BE A CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATION
