Good Morning.
Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear” and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good. Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth” and it was so. (Genesis 1:9-11)
After dry land appeared, notice that God called forth the grass, the herb yielding seed and the fruit bearing trees. In other words, the Bible reveals that He did not create these things on the third day but prior to these events. It would seem that the seed for these things were created “in the beginning” when God created the heavens and the earth (Gen. 1:1). This would infer that the seed for the grass and the fruit trees was in the ground waiting for all the proposer conditions to come together so that it might be called forth at the appropriate time.
All of mankind is shaped in iniquity (Psalm 51) and born of a corruptible seed. That’s why, in order to be reconciled back to the Creator, we must be born again of the Incorruptible Seed, which is the Messiah. Furthermore, because we have been born again of the Incorruptible Seed, everything we need in order to become the individual and the Body that God has ordained us be is already contained in that Seed. But just like natural seed, sometimes it has to wait for all the proper conditions, in particular the appropriate season, to come together in order to produce the fruit.
As we see the continued deterioration of society, it occurs to me that the season has arrived for His people to produce the appropriate fruit. We are living in the day when the Creator is calling forth all the hidden seed to rise and up and produce its fruit. According to the Messiah, when we produce that fruit we bring glory unto our Father in Heaven. May it be so in each of our lives today.
Blessings and Shalom,
Bill
